ITS BANDCAMP THURSDAY! - After a couple of synth-orientated and 'repetitive beat music' releases, I've been rediscovering the joys of micro editing, cut & paste, and glitching. There's a bit of all that on this release though, to keep everyone happy on Bandcamp Friday. Also, some exploration of sampling and mashing 50s/60s avant electronica, to form new pieces. Hey, they do it with funk! Track 3 borrows from Stockhausen,Varèse, Ilhan Mimaroglu, and Grossi, while Track 9 takes snippets of Pierre Schaeffer's, Étude pathétique - his sauce pans, canal boats, singing, speech, harmonica, piano, all thrown in on a relentless techno base. There is a full-blown cut-up release on the way, very shortly.
